How does an organisation submit a correction or update?
If your organisation is listed on SA Dog Rehoming and your contact routes, geographical coverage, dog size criteria, or surrender policies have changed, please notify us directly. To ensure data accuracy and protect listed organisations from unauthorized alterations, requests should be emailed from your official organisation email address to corrections@sadogrehoming.co.za. Please include your NPO or PBO number (if you have one), current website URL, and the exact fields to be amended.
What is our policy on removal requests from South African rescues?
We believe no animal rescue or non-profit organisation should ever be listed against its will. If your shelter is operating at maximum capacity, has restructured its operational focus, or prefers not to receive public surrender referrals through this guide, you may request complete removal at any time. We do not argue, negotiate, or delay: once a verified email request is received from an authorized representative of your organisation, the listing is permanently removed from both our web directory and underlying data feed within 48 hours.

How to report broken links or factual errors as a member of the public
If you are a dog owner or member of the public in South Africa and notice a broken link, an invalid email address, or an outdated telephone number in our directory, please let us know. You can submit the error details to corrections@sadogrehoming.co.za with the subject line "Directory Link Error". Our editorial verification desk will review and update the listing during our scheduled data review cycle.
